MTB Weekend Details

Vermont Cycling Clinics MTB Weekend

Vermont Cycling Clinic’s MTB Weekend will take you through the full breadth of foundational mountain bike skills and maneuvers in the course of two full days of learning. Participants will be grouped by experience level with lessons and progressions scaled for beginner to advanced riders. Cochran’s Ski Area boasts excellent terrain for technical descents, flow trails, climbing, and for practicing efficiency and momentum on the bike. Time will be set aside each day for off-bike learning in mechanic workshops, fear management, finding community, self sustainability, and more.

Progressing on a mountain bike requires a safe and supportive environment and the coaches in each group will set that tone. We’re here to have fun and to learn the “how” and “why” of technical mountain biking.

Born from her years directing the Rooted Vermont Women’s Clinics and Race, Kristin Motley’s compassionate leadership is once again at the helm of curating this all-inclusive weekend. Wherever you are in your journey as a cyclist is just the right place. Our goal is to meet you where you’re at and cultivate an atmosphere where you feel empowered to progress. The clinic is open to women, trans, femme, and non-binary riders.
